Das englische Wort „Gallus“ heisst einfach übersetzt Hahn, klingt aber kultivierter  und so sind auch die Hühner vor Cyrons Linse: kultiviert. Mit wunderschönem Gefieder in intensiven Farben posen sie majestätisch für seine Bilder. Schwarzer Hintergrund und eine Lichtquelle, welche der gemeinsame Nenner der Bilder ist in Kombination mit den intensiven Farben der Hühner, wecken Assoziationen mit niederländischen Malern.
„Ich denke, Hühner sind unterschätzte Kreaturen. Ich wollte sie in einem komplett anderen Licht zeigen, ihre Schönheit und ihren Stolz durch die Fotos sprechen lassen“, sagt Robby Cyron und fügt hinzu: „ In meiner kreativen Arbeit versuche ich immer die unterschiedlichen Gesichter von Schönheit zu zeigen, aber das ist das erste Mal, dass mir das in der Tierwelt gelingt.“

Die Serie „Gallus“ besteht aus 13 Fotografien mit jeweils 7 Kopien in der Edition 50x50cm.

Einige der Hühner auf den Bildern sind Teil der Sammlung von Leon Tarasiewicz, der Präsident des Züchterklubs für Zierhühner „Gallus“.

Biografie

Robby Cyron, geboren 1970, fing an sich in den frühen 90igern für künstlerische Fotografie zu interessieren. Die erste Ausstellung des Künstlers war in Fulda, wohin er in den späten 80igern auswanderte. 1995 gründete er die Fuldaer Galerie „ Eismaschine“ mit und 2012 die Galerie gwl (Galerie im Wald) in Warschau.

Seine vielen Reisen in viele verschiedene Länder sind die Hauptinspiration für seine künstlerische, sowie seine kommerzielle Arbeit.  Er kooperiert mit polnischen und ausländischen Magazinen wie Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Playboy, Marie Claire, Twoj Styl und einige internationale Marken wie Avon, Nivea, Johnson&Johnson, Dove, Audi, Fiat, Toyota, Lexus, Coca Cola und Nike.

The series „Gallus” consists of 14 photographs, each in 7 prints (copies) in the edition 50×50 cm on Diasec 5mm and 3 prints framed in the edition 80×80 cm and 2 AP in each format.

Gallus means rooster, but it sounds more sophisticated and so are the chickens in the lens of Cyron.
Beautiful with intense colors of feathers majestically posing for pictures. Black background and one source of light, which is the common denominator of the photography in combination with intense colors of hens, evoke associations with images of Dutch painters.

„I think the chickens are underestimated creatures. I wanted to show them in a completely different light, bring out their beauty and pride through photography”, says Robby Cyron and adds

„In my creative work I always try to show the different faces of beauty, but this is the first time I reached for this purpose to the animal world.”
Some hens caught in photographs comes from the collection of Leon Tarasiewicz, who is president of the Club of Breeders of Ornamental Chickens „Gallus”.

Biography

Robby Cyron born in 1970 became interested in artistic photography in the early 90s. First exhibition of the artist was held in Fulda, to which he emigrated in the late 80s. Co-founder of the Gallery „Eismaschine” in Fulda (Germany) in 1995 and gwl* („Galeria w lesie”) in Warsaw in 2012.

Many years of traveling across many countries became the main inspiration for both his works of art, as well as commercial works. On every day basis he cooperates with Polish and foreign magazines : Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Playboy, Marie Claire, Twój Styl and some international brands like : Avon, Nivea, Johnson&Johnson, Dove, Audi, Fiat, Toyota, Lexus, Cola-Cola i Nike.
